Why are some of the crowd facing the wrong way?! The guy in the very fetching white hat for example?

How about the opposition? Make them pay us for the priviledge of playing at SJP

Maybe if it was St James Park you'd have a fighting chance, but trying to get them to pay to play at the Sports Direct Arena which is not actually an arena, is gonna be like trying to sell sand to an Egyptian (to put in their desert not for construction purposes).

I honestly think Mike would have no problem with changing our name to Sports Direct United and playing in red and blue. Its no different in terms of tradition trampling to the stadium name change and could bring him money.

It's very easy and commonplace to sell sand to an Egyptian if they are in the construction industry as the sand in the Sahara is considered too fine to make structurally safe concrete.

Tis true but I was clearly only talking about trying to sell it to them to put in their desert not for construction. I think you'll find I made that clear in the initial post. Don't dare accuse me of editing.............................

Was the sand analogy following use of the word arena intentional?

I'll go along with this concept if we can fit this merchandise into the deal:

Not only is the head gear fetching and very fashionable but also acts as a safety device for when your small aircraft crashes and ends upside down in a field.
