It is amusing to watch some posters assume that everyone is as thick and ill informed as they are. <laugh>

Problem is most hydrogen production is not green. Separating hydrogen and oxygen from water is very energy intensive.

Also burning hydrogen is not that green anyway, it can cause problems with the ozone.

And the best bit is hydrogen goes bang very easily, you dont want to be near that when it does.

But as per the article dum posted we have an abundance of wind and solar that can’t be used. In time it’s this energy which will be used as part of hydrogen production process.
My company has been shortlisted for hydrogen plants at some of our manufacturing sites, which I have been asked to get involved with, but tbh I’m only just getting to grips with it. I’m told that mixing it with oxygen lowers the explosion risk but I can’t confirm how accurate that is.
However, it was donuts insistence that Labour are all for green energies and the tories suppose it, which is incorrect.

Escape Goats are brilliant for their wool as well as their milk. I'm also led to believe they make a good basis for a toothsome curry.

Even thicker **** assumes a lot, but as usual is wide of the mark.
Who should I believe, RES energy who I’ve been working with for a short while or some noddy from 606 whose knowledge on just about everything is usually taken apart in a couple of replies.

Feel free to try and take it apart cock bod, it'll be good for a laugh.

This 'surplus' electricity you reckon you're using. Did you actually read and understand why they get paid to turn it off?

Good luck finding a way to link that to making hydrogen as you suggest, you thick twat. If they could do that, they wouldn't need to turn it off in the first place you ******. <laugh>

It's the same with buying up cow farms killing all the cows & building housing estates for migrants on the land.

It's sustainable development just like the windmills no oil or gas & cow farts agenda.

We'll all be driving wind powered cars & eating steak flavored bugs if Labour win .

He'll try to wriggle away from his initial ridiculous point about using the situation in the post he refers to because it is patent cobblers. He's got a job moving his mop and bucket round a windmill ffs. <laugh>

If it has a use in the way he reckons, it needs to be produced at the point of use, but even that is liable to be supplementary than the sole fuel, and it has significant cost implications.

Watch, they'll start demanding links, and then whine it's all from google, and all because they think everyone is as thick and ill-informed as they are.

Eventually there will be clean energy, the closest thing we have is nuclear but the EUROPEAN UNION with Germany enforcing their bonkers green agenda have already resorted to coal .

The ****s squealing about lower carbon, are quite likely the same ones that blocked the nuclear programme. <doh>

It's funny that in an emergency, there seems to be little conversation about methane or water vapour, which while shorter lived, has a much greater warming potential, so the shorter term wins would be much quicker and more effective if they were reduced.

Instead, we're cracking methane open in a high energy, high pollution process, to make hydrogen, to add to the methane so we can burn it. It has a greater volume, and a lower calorific value, so will cost a lot more for less, plus the boilers will all need to be adapted to cope with the wider flammability limits and much higher flame speed.

They've knocked down a lot of windmills to get at it. It tends to be mucky coal too, as does that in the UK, so it's not a straight transition to use home dug fuels.

Aye, the child and subsistence labour, as well as the ecological damage get removed from our balance sheets. It costs us a fortune though, which will largely go elsewhere so we fall even further behind, but people can keep warm from their virtuous glow.
