Yeah, I see this now. That being said, at the time he hadn't said it was a joke.. Though I suppose I did nibble.
His dad used to play for Celtic and Hearts - his cheeks (face cheeks) used to be bright red as if he wasn`t very fit for running around!
I don’t really agree with Blackmore there. I’d agree if there were no clauses in the contract and we were genuinely just haggling endlessly. If there are legally binding clauses and the club feels Swansea aren’t honouring them, then they’re right to stand their ground and take a breath while receiving legal advice.
I know Adam has made the point already but wtf, the players are all on holiday so it really wouldn't matter. I'm sure he has basically signed for us and it's just the compo to sort out, so he can instruct which players he wants etc and have a say in what happens to the existing players. Really not a big deal and you can flip and say well done for standing firm and not bending over and giving in to the Swansea pressure! One of the replies mentioned the money will help towards making less regular staff redundant and that is clearly a good thing! Some fans are such bedwetters!
I would hope that he is already hard at work assessing the squad, identifying transfer requirements and generally making arrangements for when the appointment is finally confirmed.
Well today is the day. For Adam Blackmore: There is NO doubt we KNOW it is going to be fun. Whilst I'm here, Adam - It is TOO late to correct your grammar maybe you need TO read your posts TWO times before you post #grammarpolice
