Looks like Roca on his way to Real Betis on loan with a guaranteed buy next summer. The only reason this could be good news is we get his wages covered and we get a loan fee then we get an agreed fee next season which should mean including the loan fee that we get more than what we paid for him

He says it like it is and I personally applaud him for it. It is nice to see openness and honesty from a SPorting Director - he does make comments that wind up a certain set of supporters, he described a section of the ground that were chanting abuse at him recently as a "bunch of divorcees". He's worked wonders for us behind the scenes on a very limited budget. Signings have been a bit hit and miss but again we work on a very limited budget that can make attracting players difficult. I think the fan base is split 50/50 with him

Man City can afford him and remember he’s on £1m per week. Real Madrid can afford him but to comply with La Liga rules would have to sell many top players. Chelsea can afford him but they are already trying to offload lots of players, Newcastle could but he won’t be going there. That only leaves Man Utd and the new owner if he gets it will make a massive statement. The Saudis can afford him but he’s too young to go there
