Isn't it a shame to basically see the setting up of the fans forum where you'd hope fans might be united in hoping for answers from the club management has turned into another example of civil infighting between supporters with some claiming the organisers are in it for themselves inviting a select few and only going to ask soft easy questions etc? I wonder if other clubs have a split like this where the supporters groups who presumably are meant to represent the fans seem to be hated as much as the owner/players! Doubt anything good will come out of it because people will complain their question wasn't asked and that the answered weren't what they personally wanted to hear.
Yes, that will be released the next day. Of course that will not show the body language of owner or fans, something you can learn a lot from. Will we get two or more versions of what was said by fan groups? This is where the WO could have given an impartial view of what was said.
And no doubt some will claim it been edited to miss things out . Basically it’s people on the WFC forums and Twitter having a meltdown as they aren’t getting invited and they think it’s just a cosy little chit chat between friends . I actually think nothing would be enough for some unless Pozzo literally was on his knees begging for mercy and said he was off .
More on that Deeney interview. One line stands out for me - "You know I was close to signing [for Arsenal]. The year I got relegated." Not "we got relegated" or "Watford got relegated" - it seems to be his ego doing the talking. https://talksport.com/football/1455264/
Yes and it’s all said for show as he knows the fans will lap it up taking everything as face value . Pozzo will be pleased - he hasn’t been the most hated man with a Watford connection this weekend on Twitter etc .
I guess that, for some, take up may depend on who the 'club legends' are - but £100 a ticket would certainly rule me out no matter who they trot out.
Ditto. I still don't know what street food is. A hot dog or burger seems to be popular. For a £100 do they throw in a packet of crisps?
I know what street food is in places like Vietnam, but I'm not too sure that the insects in England are big enough or juicy enough to qualify...
And this will be being organised by people who have been at the club for a while too . Unless the hierarchy are telling them who to invite . Be Richard Johnson and Tommy Mooney .
it should be pointed out that it clearly states that the money , after costs, goes to the Community sports and education trust.
Yes a good cause (if people are bothered about them ) undoubtedly but people will find the price expensive but others won’t I guess . Seeing a man who many consider Mr WFC not be invited will seem very strange too .
Memorable Moments voting now open - am not fussed with a few of the ten options, but am having difficulty deciding between numbers 1, 3, 9 and 10. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/vr10...Ld-0P0lqg6HYD1Nl6VjkkTcETgu4x49C86a9gQwWAdic4
