passing for passings sake will get you nowhere, the balls got to be in the opposition box to score goals so its no good just keeping the ball in your own half then losing it in the opposition like england do, we've got to be more clever than that, and so far i think gary speed has the right philosophy. we arent just a team who like to knock the ball about in midfield with small players like bellamy ramsey and allen, we also have a phyical player up front in morison who runs the channels and can be an outlet to opposition who arent used to direct balls. also, take the time to look at the twitter account of raymond verheijen, assistant manager ( http://twitter.com/#!/raymondverheije ) who provides insight from a professionals point of view.

I don't think Wales are far off, getting into the possession passing, there was some pretty good stuff yesterday, and had Joe Allen, and Ramsey been on form, could have been a whole lot better in the middle of the park, it will come though.
