I think you are being a bit harsh on Woods, he is IMO not a **** signing he just has not had the run of games because of Seri's good season. When he has played he has been okay, which is more than you can say about Figgy.
Think the question mark over Woods is whether he was worth buying out one of Birmingham larger contracts for.
Agree with that, but that is not a reason to say he was ****e. Yes, probably a bit of a wasted signing, but playing wise not a bad player IMO.
I’ll be honest, I have a feeling he won’t come back. I reckon some other club in the Championship will be willing to pay a fee to Newcastle now whereas we might only be willing to do a loan-to-buy option.
He's got a young kid and is settled in Newcastle. Which made us a good move as it's only a couple of hours away and an easy drive. Unfortunately Boro is less than half as far and an easier drive.
