For the mass majority of the league the only difference between now and the years before the City takeover is it's Manchester City winning everything, not Manchester United. Look at 1996 - 2001 in comparison to 2018 - 2023 It's identical. Before Fergurson, Man Utd weren't winning titles. Before Pep, City had gone 3 years without a title win, Chelsea had won two on the bounce.
