Imagine having a domestic cup competition in which teams can only enter if they have spent less than, say, 20m on incoming transfers over the previous 12 months. That would obviously rule out all but one or two Prem teams every year, but also it might even be an incentive to some teams not to just splash the cash whenever etc. The competition would actually be relatively fair, respectable, and winnable for probably 30-40 clubs that otherwise are never going to win f*ck all. And it's not like your bigger boys couldn't join in from time to time if they wanted. I know it's unrealistic, but there's nothing much to talk about at the moment, and we're just faced with a constant Man City love-in for the next week or so. Anyway, about tonight... FORZA INTER!!!!
