Not a bad replacement at all tbf. I wonder if Inter smell a bit of blood for the rest of this first half and push on a bit
No offence but Ake is the weak link here. He looks frightened when Inter come down that side and isn't helping Grealish much.
I don't normally watch Man City or non Sunderland games in general but this game reminds me of some of our games last season. Better technical players and the opposition making us work hard but with no real threat going forward. Just like us at times, if City pass the ball quicker and make Inter chase the ball more, they'll score and then go on to get another
Not the best as a spectacle but Inter have been a lot better than I thought they would be. If they get the first goal it will be very interesting to see if they keep pressing or start to sit deeper.
Very tactical game. Enjoyable as a tactics game. Inter have really impressed me. Their press is very very good. They have signposted weaknesses and planned around it. Credit Simeone, very good coaching performance so far. City wide players, are they key. They have the beating of their men every time. Fodens strength is playing the ball quick. He needs to find the wide men early and it will come from there. The bearded centre back at centre back looks like he is pulling a train. Play behind him and he will crack in my opinion. Great story, but he looks vulnerable to me.
Terrible commentators these two. So bias towards the English side. I would assume, listening to them, City have never got close to an Inter player. My opinion. Give the ball to Grealish. He has 2 or 3 of them on toast.
The Inter ****housing is getting a bit ridiculous mind. Disappointing that in the biggest final in the world, anti-football is the game plan from Inter.
