I will be intrigued just how many of the January signings we off-load. If they all disappear, I think that SR's credibility for signing them in the first place will again be scrutinized. I just feel that, combined with the fiasco with the managerial appointment, we still have not learned our lesson. It just feels like the club is being run by amateurs.
Only Onuachu and Orsic will be players we would want to shift. SR won't want to sell any of the other 3., thats for damn sure.
I think all three will be gone. There is no way that the likes of Alcaraz and Souleman are going to be playing in the Championship this season. I can see Alcaraz going to Brighton. As for Caleta-Car, I do not think he has pulled up many trees since his signing and feel his wages will lead to him being sold. Too many of the posts in the last few weeks have been overly optimistic. Why would international players wish to play in a league which gets less media coverage from the BBC than women's football ?
Two things I disagree with. The Championship definitely gets more coverage than woman's football on the BBC and around Europe. List of clubs in the Championship with international players playing and the amount https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/nationalspieler/wettbewerb/GB2 Alcaraz and Sulemana IMO would definitely consider playing in the Championship, and lets face it, we hold their registration so if no good offer comes in then we keep them.
With virtually all the squad being snapped up we will need to be pretty busy recruiting I remember regular comments from so call experts on BBC and talkSport that Saints had the weakest squad in the EPL, well how come virtually all our players are being bought up by decent clubs? Weakest management…… yes, weakest squad? No
