The greatest sports man of our time is... Edwin Corley Moses (born August 31, 1955) is an American track and field athlete who won gold medals in the 400 metre hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics. Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals (122 consecutive races) and set the world record in his event four times. In addition to his running, Moses was also an innovative reformer in the areas of Olympic eligibility and drug testing. In 2000, he was elected the first Chairman of the Laureus World Sports Academy, an international service organization of world-class athletes
He isn't even the best of his era, love him or hate him Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter around by quite some way. Pacquiao is a class fighter, but don't get carried away. I felt Marquez had won that fight on Saturday and so did many others, including one of the judges. Pacquiao was very lucky to get the win. As for best Athlete, I'd say Micheal Johnson over Moses, mainly because Johnson did the 200-400 double, Moses just stuck to the one event. Bolt would also have to be mentioned in the same league, with how he has been competing the last few years
Hardest man in sport, ever = AP McCoy. 13 times champion in the only sport where participants compete every day, and risk their lives every time they compete. And as well as courage, tenacity and craft, the man is also blessed with humility.
