See the cesspit is being emptied, a step at a time https://news.sky.com/story/politics...air-lashes-out-at-civil-service-blob-12593360 Dorries, The Liars chief sycophant steps down with immediate effect, I'll be having a few tonight to celebrate
Looks like Sunak has caved in and accepted Johnson's honours list ... ... an expense fiddling Christian who wants Burkas banned in the UK. Yes, she'll be right at home in the House of Lords
Unless she’s sulking over being kicked off Boris Johnson’s honours list by the cabinet office. Her revenge is forcing exactly what Rishi Sunak didn’t want: a by-election
I cant see anyone blocking a list to be honest, as much as it would seem the sensible thing. If only we had real reform and stopped the whole process of resignation lists. I shudder to think of her in the lords to be honest. Sadly isnt the only one the makes me feel that way.
She's not on the list A lovely bit of blue on blue. Let's hope it spirals and ends in a general election.
Another Labour MP suspended. You have to wonder about the party, dont you? More likely a Westminster thing in my opinion, than a party thing. Suggests to me cultural problems stretch across the two parties and both need to clean up their act, frankly.
100% this, personally l would love to see it abolish and a more representative elected house of two hundred
I understand the need for a house of lords. I just dont see the relevance of the one we have. Elected members are the way forward, like you say, and a much streamlined operation.
Boris Johnson promising high wages Liz Truss promising high wages Rishi Sunak promising to stop foreigners coming here and taking people's jobs
Starmers promises when he became leader are in tatters. More and more they are reversed, with few left. But I was laughing when I was reminded of his commitment to a be 'a forensic, effective opposition to the conservatives', now he is saying he doesnt care if people think he is a conservative. Strap yourselves in folks, he is our next PM
Another crony sneaks out of the cesspit... Health minister to step down at next election to 'put family first' Health minister Will Quince has announced he will step down at the next election so he can "put my family and daughters first". The 40-year-old said in a statement on his website: "I have informed the Prime Minister and my local Conservative Association of my decision not to seek re-adoption as the Conservative Party candidate for the Colchester constituency at the next general election.
I wonder if the tories promise to give the local constituents a choice on the next candidate? Hopefully they dont take the labour approach of saying we will give control to local communities, but then remove any candidate that wont say yes sir, no sir, two bags full sir.
Surely it's better to have people with the same ideals .. ... rather than the constant infighting and division in the current government.
