If there are decent players on offer then fair enough. But I’ve said before it is literally pointless us selling him for under £50m due to the buy back and sell on clauses City have on him.
If any players are going to be included on a perm deal it will be some we haven’t heard of. No way would the likes of Broja/Colwill/Fofana have any interest in joining us. A couple of loans seem more likely, again not for any of them, but I’m sure there are other Broja/Livramento types knocking about in their u23s
I did think of this the other day tbf. Chelsea obviously have a huge squad and they will have some talented youngsters who they may want to loan out. Whether or not we have anyone left who may know Poch from his time here I don’t know but an avenue to explore possibly.
Ampadu is the nearest like for like replacement for Lavia we could realistically get IMO. And as a Welshman I'd really love to see him in a Saints shirt. But he's highly regarded in Serue A apparently having made more successful ball recoveries (200), progressive passes (125), blocks (45), tackles and interceptions (99) and clearances (90) than any of his teammates at Spezia this season. Still, 22, a leader with fight and quality. Yes please.
I don't know - he'll have the last say as to whether a certain player is available for loan or not, I'd presume?
