I'm not surprised by Alonso at all. I know what he's capable of and that today was a fantastic performance and a world class drive in a below standard car.
Yeah, I really felt for him. When he overtook di Resta I really though it might be his day. I really hope Toro Rosso keep the team in tact for next season. Ricciardo will still have his day.
yeah, he should've been a sitting duck to a KERS equipped DRS activated RBR, although they were once again slightly off in the gear ratio at the top end, 2 or 3 mph could've made the difference. I think in years gone past he may have conceded the place when Webber had the inside, but he showed great controlled agression to keep the position. A good drive from Alonso, but I personally think Hamilton had him 'in his pocket' and if he'd've started to make a real challenge Lewis would've turned the wick up a bit and left him behind. Kobay had a pretty good race too, finally.
The only time I vote Vettel as well as 58% of the users on this forum he DNF's. Congrats to the Hammy voters Could the rake of the Redbull have been a factor of his DNF outcome? The "friction" with the cars filled to the brim with fuel (as DC said) and the rake.... what do you think?
It was the full fuel load, rear tyre pressure and camber going over the kerb on the wide painted lines. Really unlucky.
I have missed Hungary Quali, Monaco race restart. Monza race. And this weekend completely. Life just gets in the way of things.
I don't understand this complaint. You're presumably watching it on the BBC: the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation, and you're complaining about pro-Brit bias? WTF?
Well we all might be missing half of next years races due to that ugly wrinkly old ****er named Murdoch.
I do feel the praise of Lewis is somewhat excessive given that we could not really compare him to the other two race winners.
The races are better for having Hamilton back in contention, and hopefully dropping the bad feeling with Alonso over their partnership at McLaren. Shame Button and Webber had problems.
