If they can make fortunes in the USA then it stands to reason that some will see the U.K as a goldmine and do likewise over here...You only need to walk down the High Street nowadays and look at the lips, bums and busts on many females(and some men) to realise that the American phenomenon of body tinkering has hit town..
Maybe As I said, I don’t know enough about it really. Not sure Health regs here would allow it, but it’s up to us, as the electorate, to decide whether we want to follow the US down that route in the future I suppose
What with men wearing skirts up your way it was only a matter of time. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I'm pretty sure if it becomes a detrimental issue within the pride movement, the pride movement will swiftly deal with it? As an aside,I agree with yourself and DBT regarding the USA and it's attitude on children being allowed the right to transition,it's utterly abhorrent.
Being an Englishman I've never worn one. However,I may be persuaded if I can cobble enough cash together to visit my local 'crash course qualified' BOTOX injector and have my genitals 'plumped up'..

It’s sad that the a lot of the world( us the worse) copy’s the USA like it does. Even more so when at times they come over as completely bonkers.
A lady called Africa Gomez does a wildlife blog in that area called Wild at Hull it’s very interesting.A few weeks ago she posted a picture of an otter in the same piece of the drain .The poor female Mallard is bad enough just imagine these brain dead morons coming across the otter. An eye for an eye comes to mind here .

What a surprise. You don't see many of these empty old buildings suddenly burst into flames in Hull do you? When was the last one on Hessle road? Six weeks ago? This will end up the same way, bulldozed.
Clearly wrong imo. As you say in your later post "... I think action around actually being inclusive is much more important and that inspection regimes can encourage odd behaviour". Exactly the same when it comes initiatives for anti-racism, positive discrimination, etc etc. For similar reasons, I don't think Pride is a good thing at all. Better to stop highlighting the differences and pushing agendas.
I will agree with all of this, just as soon as people don’t get discriminated against or even attacked just because of their race or sexuality. Even though I think actions are more important than gestures, I don’t think it’s binary and you have to get rid of one to have the other. I do think we are much closer to things like Pride being irrelevant, but I don’t think we’re there yet (society…not ‘we’ here necessarily)
Don't really understand why Pride is being singled out when there's a number of other events in the City Centre that are partially/fully funded by HCC too...
Only noticed it’s completely gone recently. Made a good job of the groundworks because it doesn’t look like it was ever there!
