You'll be touring with them next!

You're not Ozzy Osbourne in disguise are you, making a comeback with Black Sabbath? <laugh>

Evening all - Just back from a week-end at my big sisters in Kent. What a beautiful autumn day, a walk through the old town in Deal and then along the prom and the pier - just glorious. We went and paid our respects at the band stand which is now a memorial to the Royal Marines bandsmen who where murdered by those IRA scum in Deal...

i had a good time at the rehearsal. Funny to think they want just one more rehearsal and i have no idea what i'm doing! lol

Them : "make up some harmony"

    Me : "er..ok"

    them : "sounds good"

me : "i have no idea what i just sang and i'm sure it won't be the same next time

them : "never mind, it sounds great!"

<laugh> very easily pleased, i must say!

Morning All, A bright start to the day again, I like this weather. Topping up the sun tan in the middle of November suits me fine.

I have been promised a selection of words at my class this morning that one doesn't use in polite company. It is so that we know if someone is not happy with us.

So will have my coffee then off out. We give our French neighbour a lift as she comes along to help. Unfortunately she is far more awake on a Monday morning than I am and forgets to slow down. Not sure if she thinks we are better at the language than we do. :(

What a beautiful day here in Paris;), what to do, what to do? I think a lazy morning, make some soup for dinner. Then later on take the metro to the antique market at Clignancourt, just for wander round and tomorrow it is time to conquer the Eiffel Tower. If the weather stays the same I will be able to see for miles:)

MM has been giving an interview to his local paper. In it he says, "He has nothing but praise for the club Cardiff poached him from in the summer, but admitted that with many in the Watford hierarchy leaving as the club was sold to local businessman Laurence Bassini, the time felt right to move on."

I think he didn't like what he could see was happening. :(

I saw my MRI results on the pc, mind you it could have been anything<yikes> the detail was unbelievable. Also the first x-ray of my knee when I was first diagnosed with arthritis, hopefully when I see the Doc on Friday they will have the x-ray results of my left foot and the blood results. I know what they will do though even though I have an appointment already for Friday is that send me an email to my work email address which has the out-of-office on(clearly states back to work n Friday please cal mobile if email is urgent) then they will ask please make an appointment to see the Doc<grr>

H, yesterday's walk...not quite so bright this morning...

    IMG_0136.jpg

Woke up with a sore throat so had breakfast in bed reading 'How I won the Yellow Jumper', Ned Boulting's very funny account of life as a Tour de France journalist. A good read if you're not feeling 100%...entertaining without being too taxing.

Afternoon all - grey and overcast typical November day in West West London. Looking forward to this week, little Miss W_Y is home on Wednesday for the week-end, we have the goalkeepers Legends night on Thursday, Pompey at home and the West Herts Beer Festival on Saturday and then friends coming round on Saturday night....just need 3 points on Saturday to make it perfect!
