Borough have activated a year extension to his contract for this season. He's out of contract next summer. Depending how stubborn Boro feel like being I'd say it's a possible target. Gyokeres is also out of contract next summer and its rumoured that Coventry would accept an offer as low as £11 million. I'd think £15-20 million would be more realistic.
Very different player to Gyokeres. Never really scored goals in his career. Boro sarted playing him more as a 10 (though they're quite fluid as an attacking unit) and he started banging them in. Hard player to pigeon hole to be honest but he makes inelligent runs and this year at leaset showed he can finish. He actually would make a great partner for Gyokeres. Has to be a good chance both will end up in the prem next season.
The Boro player we should be enquiring about is Ryan Giles. He's actually a wolves player but was the best left back in the champ last season, certainly from an attacking perspective. If Wolves don't need him this year (if) we should be all over it.
My pleasure Sir. The boro player that all the knowledgable boro fans that I speak to talk most highly of? Jonny Howson. DM/CM even centre half this season. Going strong at 35 (well until he missed the play offs)
Regis Le Bris from a French first division team is the new name in the hat for the vacant coach position. Apparently he likes to play direct football rather than possession based. He has been a coach at Lorient since June 2022 (his only job as coach) with a 39% win record. Someone please tell me they would not prefer Gerrard over this guy
please log in to view this image Larry Nance Junior an American basketball player who is said to be part of the 49ers takeover team, unsure if he’s just an investor but he tweeted this of himself inside ER on Monday He’s also been using emojis like winks and smiles on tweets where some have been saying they’ve heard the 49ers will have full control this week.
The PSV one doesn't surprise me. I think I heard somewhere that Summerville wanted to back to Holland but I think the team being mentioned was Ajax
Maybe Summerville can have the best of both worlds as Ruud Van Nistelroy left PSV last week after doing fantastic coaching PSV with a 65% win ratio? Better than Gerrard
