West Brom run out of parachute money this season. They need a clear out themselves to reduce wages and running costs. The buyout for Corberan is £2 million. They would accept that immediately, I mean they have to allow him to speak to us if that is triggered but they'd actually encourage it.

If Leeds want Corberan, they'll get Corberan. The 49ers contacted Bielsa after Gracia was sacked so it would make sense that they'd go for Corberan if and when the buyout is sorted.

Celtic fans, are in favour of rodgers going back even though he ditched them halfway through a season.

Should give him the job then they could really know a bad coach.

For those who think Cresswell isn’t good enough take a look at this kid. He and Charlie play alternate games for England U21s and sometimes play together. Same age just top CB talents

Always like him.<ok> Now whether he's a good enough manager for us is a different question.

I like Charlie, though he was still a bit raw when he turned out for our senior team. I’m sure his time at the wall will have helped his development. A comparison like this doesn’t mean much though Doc - look at our FA youth cup team and the Man U team they beat. It’s not how good they are at 20, it’s how good people think they are going to be.

I have no idea if Colwill’s ceiling is higher or lower than Creswell’s, but the fact they both play for England and are similar ages doesn’t automatically make them worth similar money

I don't doubt if we wanted Corberan we could get to at least speak with him and pay the exit clause, I think he'd probably join too. The point I am trying to make is we obviously haven't yet, as no agreement between the clubs has been made. Kinnear has openly said he is interviewing and speaking to candidates, he obviously hasn't spoken to Corberan yet.

Loads of gossip suddenly flying around that the 49ers have agreed with Radz a £170m deal that will see them own 100% of the club (and ground) and that the details have been submitted to the EFL today

It’s interesting that the two shortest odds are for ‘bielsa old boys’

If interest is serious is it a case of Better the devil you know? Or sucking up for some fan goodwill? Maybe a bit of both.

Could also be that they’re simply known to have spoken to kinnear, which given they’re ex employees it could be him simply canvassing their opinion.

Crazy odds, why on earth would we approach Flores, and yes Corberan might become the new coach but considering we can't have spoken to him yet, how is he favourite. Despite how the majority feel, Gerrard at 7/1 is by far the best value for money, far too much gossip flying around to deny he is not a genuine contender

You know my view fella. I’m not that bothered who it is but - unless there is major surgery to the squad expected - it would make sense for it to be a coach who favours high pressing since that’s what the existing squad was put together to do.

Most important thing is they get their act together and get someone - and a DOF assuming we’re getting one - ASAP.
