I wonder who is having the final say on a coach appointment Radz or the 49ers

I wonder if we’re still going to have a DoF

If you were approached to become our coach, would you want to know a budget, who’s staying, who the DoF was going to be and if it is Radz calling the shots what happens if he sells up.

I just can’t see the likes of Potter or Rodger’s agreeing with so much uncertainty.

On another note Celtic are looking at Jesse to replace Ange

Marsch is becoming the new Warnock Big Mick type. First Southampton then Leicester, then Monaco, then Celtic. Your welcome to him

Think the new head coach will be decided by the 49ers as they are going to be either sole owner or majority shareholder very soon. As far as the DoF is concerned right now we are not using one but that may change later but for now it’s going to be our head of recruitment alongside our head of scouting and data. Imagine Kinnear dealing with agents and speaking to the recruitment team. Also have a loans manager to oversee those out on loan and those we may want to send out next season. There should be a plan of action for those coming back keep, sell or loan out again as well as a plan for who we want to send out

Unless it is cast in stone that the 49ers are taking full control I cannot see Radz allowing them to appoint a coach without him signing it off, it is all a bit strange.

If we are not getting a DoF then I would imagine we have zero budget and we should not expect any signings or the alternative is we are going to just ask the new coach who would he like to sign and he will be given a budget.

Lots of pieces of the jigsaw are missing or unanswered at present

Looking at that list alone, my choice would be

    1) Rogers
    2) Potter
    3) Corberan
    4) Gerrard
    5) Parker

Apart from the first two in my list, all very underwhelming

Gerrard above Farke with two Championship league titles?

I wouldn't be against Potter but the last time he took over a club that had just been relegated to the Championship he only managed midtable mediocrity.

49ers are still putting proposals forward on purchasing the club and they want Dmitri De Conde as DoF from Genk.

They've got a boardroom already waiting to start work (which includes Kinnear for year 1).

Reports are that they are discussing possible deals with Radz but there is nothing final on the table yet. Probably will be next week if there is a deal to be made.

Gerrard is a gamble, I think this level might suit him and he might improve along the way, Gerrard was not ready for the PL and he might never be, that's the gamble. Farke has twice demonstrated that this is his level, half full two promotions, half empty, one relegation and then two seasons later a record 15 straight defeats at top level. We know Farke is not a PL coach.

For me, after the first two, it is roll a dice time, none stand out, you can pick faults with them all, in reflection Farke or Parker, nothing between the two, I went Parker as he did it with two different clubs

I think we would have a chance if the 49ers were in full control and had a pot to spend as well as a decent DoF in place. I don't believe we are interviewing Corberan as we would need to seek permission.

Lee Bowyer asked if he was approached to take over from Gracia on TalkSport and if he has been approached again

Without going into too much detail, there was a message or two exchanged. The decision from the club was to go for Big Sam because of experience,”

“Going forward, I would like to think we would have a conversation at some stage, and maybe try and put something together.

“I’ve got an understanding and a connection with the club. And, if I got the call, I would love to go there. I’d jump at the chance.

“I know the Championship now, I understand it. I believe that, if I went there, I would get them promoted again.

Corberan had a deal with the director who took him to WBA and they got very close. That guy walked away a couple of weeks ago due to money problems and a changed vision from the club. In other words if Leeds ask for Corberan he will walk away as its a ****show now. WBA fans are scared to death but realise the club is goosed…..

Rogers for me or Potter followed by Corberan and Parker but no way is Gerrard qualified or Lee Bowyer

if the club are looking at an overseas head coach I hope to fook this isnt another Hail Mary
