Jammy RedBullBall has stopped working everywhere even in Brazil. Klopp was a disciple of Ralf Ragnick but he quickly learnt that in the Prem he needed to adapt it and he did it to great effect. Ralf Ragnick himself the high priest of Red Bull was made to look shyte at Man Utd. Wagner was made to look stupid at Huddersfield, Norwich even got sacked back in Germany again last week. Ralf H at Saints started well but was gradually found out as opposition countered his tactics with ease and ultimatley he got sacked, Marsch never made it work at Leipzig and was found out at Leeds straight away. It needs to be adapted to make it work in the Prem but Marsch tried and his own players didn’t have a clue what he was trying to do. So dont want Ralf H as hes a busted flush too
Fair comment Doc. However I would counter that with we're in the Championship now so regardless of style we should be one of the better teams and should Hasenhuttl choose to employ similar tactics we'll be up against much lesser opponents than in the PL.
Playing devils advocate though Jammy, so you are suggesting that we make a short term appointment of someone to get us promoted, and then appoint someone else once we have been promoted. Does that not give the board the chance of double the odds of making the wrong appointment . If they appoint the guy they want to help with progression in the EPL now, then if/when it goes wrong, they will have only made one mistake
Definitely appoint someone to get us promoted. That's all that matters at this moment in time and considering anything else would just be further muddled thinking.

well your counter argument to Doc's concerns that RH tactics are not good enough for the premier league was that he would be managing in the Championship. You never addressed the issue about him managing in the premier league. So you either agree with Doc about the tactics, in which case you don't want him in charge of us after guides us to promotion from the Championship or else you believe he would be good enough, in which case I would have expected you to lead with that point, and not rely upon us playing at a lower level as your counter argument Told you I'm playing devils advocate
The fact we are at a lower level won't change until we achieve promotion back to the PL and so concerning ourselves with anything else would be bordering on thinking we're too good for the Championship when the evidence of the last 20 years clearly proves otherwise. Goodnight Mr DA.
