Who is the donor? Have to say, I think they should all get a settlement - the same one - plus maybe ethical fair membership income. It’s too vulnerable to corruption the donor thing.

A labour council leader, who is standing to be an MP in a safe seat next time, has told families if their children dont inform on perpetrators of crime their housing agreement may be reviewed. I honestly dont know where to start with that one. I have read it a couple of times hoping I have the wrong end of the stick. Labour are the law and order party as well, apparently. Not likely if this is anything to go by.

People won’t inform if the police aren’t resourced or have time to protect them . It’s a vicious cycle though solvable if we had the money for prevention and community police.
Threatening families like that is not going to do a thing. It’s also a bit vague mind. What kind of crime? Any kind in the area that they happen to live or crimes within the family? Most reports of crime are just ignored as there is absolutely nowhere near enough resources. As an example my mam and dad live in Witherwack…constantly people bombing around on unregistered scramblers. Report them and they admit there’s nothing they can do, it’s not even hard to see where the twats live. I can’t even remember the last time I actually saw police driving through the area doing rounds. I also very much doubt this is a Labour stance, rather one councils daft idea.
