The Times are suggesting that the reason we have passed on Ruben Amorim was because of his counterattacking style TBH the issue with him is he's been seen as a Continuity Conte, as he plays the same formation but with the Portuguese mentality instead of the Italian one - which means overly cautious buildup with a ****ton of sideways passes. The fact he's been bristling with the Sporting brass all season, en route to having them finish fourth in a three-team league, probably doesn't help either
Hey guys hope your well. Haven't posted for ages due to some personal problems. I'm certainly warming to Postecoglu. Liking the cut of his jib and looking forward to this dynamic attacking football that he will bring. Also can't wait to see Spurs revert to 4 at the back with either a 4231 or 433. Hopefully no more insipid dull football Praying that kane gets on the half turn and puts Sonny through, opposition teams have sussed us out now. Hated the 5 at the back sitting back with numbers and barely getting out of out own half Think we will get tonked by the big teams from time to time under Postecoglu with his gung ho tactics but it will be a thrill to watch us.
Welcome back - we could use some of this optimism for the new season, so hope you can get on more when the season kicks off.
Nuno cannot play Portu-ball without Portuguese players. Lucky to have had the likes of Moutinho (technically competent MF) at Wolves, but without, well we saw how that ended up.

If it is to be Postecoglou then I will get right behind him and wish him luck, he will need it working for Levy.
Tbh Martin Jol stepping up from Waalwijk with their 7,000 seater stadium to take us to the brink of CL football is one of the best examples of this happening successfully and my apologies to BMJ for forgetting him.
John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan (yep, Gordon's son for those wondering) are rumoured to be coming with Ange from Celtic. I hope Kennedy's middle name doesn't begin with an 'F'.
“Here we go” from fab you say? LOL this is spurs. We’ll end up undoing a “here we go” for the first time in his career!
Probably has something to do with the fact that thousands apparently didn't renew their ST last week, and the fact that the new kits are being announced on Thursday. Money, money, money.
