Good Morning. It's Friday 2nd June, and hert are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Allardyce set to depart after telling Kinnear home truths

Sam Allardyce is set to leave his role as Leeds interim Manager, after crunch talks with CEO Angus Kinnear broke down yesterday. Allardyce, was strongly tipped to be installed permanently, but things turned sour after the no-nonsense 68yo told Kinnear some home truths about his squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Allardyce was shocked at the Leeds players' inability to put up a fight in the relegation battle; and wanted a complete overhaul. This didn't go down too well with the Leeds Chief Executive, and the meeting was cut short.

As savage as Allardyce's comments sound, perhaps he has a point! Everton, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth were all in far worse position than Leeds , yet defied the odds, by picking up unexpected points during the business end of the season, whilst Leeds continued to get steamrolled.

Short list of five for the ER hot seat

Luton Town Manager Rob Edwards now joins a shortlist of five for the Elland Road hot-seat. The 40yo former Wales International recently guided the Hatters to the Premier League, via the play-offs, and has suddenly become a wanted man.

He joins fellow candidates Steven Gerrard, Carlos Corboran, Brendan Rodgers and Lee Bowyer, all of whom have been strongly linked with the vacancy going back to February, when Marsch was sacked. With turmoil in the board room, fans may have to wait a while until the club are ready to unveil their next whipping boy.

Championship starts in 65 days...

There are 65 days until Leeds kick off their new Championship season, and the club are still no closer to finding out who their owners will be! The sheer gravity of the situation, will no doubt, have filtered down to the the pitch, where the players currently contemplate their futures!

The shenanigans at board room level are preventing the club from appointing a permanent Manager, let alone a retained list, transfer targets and sales. If Leeds arrive late for the party, the bargains will have disappeared, and they'll be left scrambling around for square pegs for round holes, much like what we have seen all to many times.

Good morning everyone
Don't like the sound of any of the managers/coaches being mentioned above, Rogers is the only stand out one to me, that could possibly turn all this around, as looks as though Potter & Ranieri are none starters, so please let it be Rogers, then i will also look forward to next season as some of you already are.

Morning all. Total chaos. Brings me back to the points deduction era and radz appears to have now decided to follow the Mel Morris how to run a football club business plan. Anyway, there is a positive. Elland not likely to run out of morning material for the entire summer and there will be lots to chat about for the 65 days and well beyond

Glad Allerdyce is gone, w anker.

Cannot get my head into the new season until we have some indication of the plan for the club. Owner, board, DoF, head coach….. a complete mess and we cannot do anything until it’s sorted

Morning all. A bit off thread this, but will anything happen to Everton and Man. city over financial irregularities. I thought they were both being investigated. Things have gone quiet on that front.<ok>

Morning everyone so we get to Friday and still no news on coaching or players. Past history shows rads to be a worse fiddler than nero. Some good players out there and we need to act now not in four weeks time. Has rads learned anything in the past six years?. I see he is still saying we when referring to mistakes being made. Sorry but you own the club mr chairman and it's you not we making these mistakes. Most unblinkered fans could see he needed to act two summers ago. But he thought Bielsa could keep them in the prem with his small championship quality squad. So now i think he is stuck with us as no way will he want to sell for 150 million. He could still be here in two seasons if he gets it wrong again. Way too many memberships sold and people conned out of money to go on the season ticket waiting list. This of course was set up for when the stadium was rebuilt. Apart from less than half of the west stand roof being replaced amounts to no progress at all. Well hard luck mr chairman your gamble has failed miserably as i predicted. I actually believe the championship is a far better league than the top six prem.

We need somebody to coach who knows english football. No more yankee soccer coaches or tactical lame brained spaniards. There are enough British coaches to choose from and why is one not in place already?.

At least we may soon get to visit new grounds like Coventry did when the banks take over and we’re turfed out of Elland road. Be like 46 away games a year. Gonna cause chaos for our bus driver though
