Dex, he beat far more than Peddlers Cross did and look at the hyperbole that came out after his win. Was a very taking performance from a horse Nicholls said would definitely need the run.

Just a quick drop in as I'm off to work- the joy! Al Ferof really impressive, won at a canter and much more to come. I suspect he'll be a very, very good horse over 2 and a half miles and eventually 3. Settled beautifully, very nice rhythm. Wonder if the Arkle might be a little sharp? That's for another day anyway. On a side note, would be great if Sprinter Sacre also makes an impressive debut. The novice chase scene is warming up nicely. Fancy Gauvain to run a nice race fresh up next. A Media Luz looks really well treated at these weights, hopefully she can settle well and go very close. Third Intention looks the overpriced horse, also on better terms today than in that race LTO and can get much closer. I think Polisky is 'could be anything' bracket later on and might be the one to turn over the warm favourite Fingal Bay. Enjoy the racing all
