So Allardyce was in charge of the club for 4 games, that's 360 minutes of playing time. During that period Rodrigo played 300 minutes of football. So yes whilst Bamford was the preferred choice as the no 9. , Rodrigo wasn't exactly ignored, having played 83% of the playing time available in those last 4 games. Just also to clarify, this is not in support of Allardyce, just don't agree with the comment that he ignored Rodrigo Rodrigo's average playing time under each of our managers this season Marsch - 72 mins per game (Total appearances 18 out of possible 19, played in 75% of available playing time - 1 game missed due to injury) Skubala - Unavailable for all 3 games due to injury Gracia - 48 minutes per game (Total appearances 8 out of a possible 11, played in 53% of available playing time, 2 games missed due to injury) Allardyce - 75 mins per game (Total appearances 4 out of a possible 4, played in 83% of available playing time) On total minutes played, Rodrigo has played 3.5 games less than he played last season under Bielsa and Marsch, and 7 more games that he played in his first season under Bielsa
I think Doc was saying allardyce preferred barndoor over Rodrigo mate which, considering that barndoor is shot to pieces and couldn't score in a brothel was suicidal see ya Sam you're no good for us
I was talking to an old mate who lives down south but was up to visit friends and family before the game on Sunday and he was saying a mate of his owns a garage and summerville booked in to get new tyres on his posh motor, apparently the lad asked if we would avoid relegation with a few games left summervilles response was to shrug his shoulders and say "I don't know couldn't give a ****"
That is very possible, in which case he still wasn't ignored, just maybe not played in the position that we would have preferred him to play. The only reason I picked up on it, is that for someone that has played 31 games in the Premier League for us this season (same as he played last season under Bielsa and Marsch), Doc has said that both Marsch, Gracia and Allardyce (sorry refuse to call him by his nickname) ignored Rodrigo, when that is not exactly true, and yet Rodrigo has had his best season playing for us in the 3 years he has been here. Maybe we should have ignored him in the previous 2 years too
Afternoon all, No way should the club be looking at Allardyce moving forward. If and when the 49ers take over I can see them wanting a more exciting progressive style of football and he can't deliver that regardless of what players we keep or buy.
Always the managers fault on here. One last time. The players are ****, downed tools, don't care, don't spend time with fans and want to leave now it's all done but Big Sam/Marsch/Gracia or whatever.... Wake up.
Should the fans have turned on the players sooner The fans should NEVER turn on the players .. it's unhelpful and defeatist, and serves no purpose .. sticking together is the only way UNITED WE STAND! 49ers beginning to flex their muscles Does it matter? Rutter cost £24.5m rising with add-ons like winning Cups, staying in Prem & qualifying for Europe, so £24.5m it is and Phil Hay is still a negative hack who thrives when Leeds struggle Radrizzani given exclusivity to try and tie up Sampdoria deal First offer has been refused, but that's a ploy to try and get a bit more cash .. the club is fkd financially, so the current owners can't really negotiate from a position of strength .. they're looking for a payoff to leave, the alternative is Samp goes bust and they get nothing Radz is joined in this venture by Qatar, so they will have the funds to clear the debts and rebuild quickly .. thing is, Radz can still walk away from the 49ers deal if he wants to, and he may do so .. he would like to do a Pozzi family setup like Udinese/Watford .. if he did, it would be much better than the Pozzi one because Samp & Leeds are much bigger clubs with better financial prospects Radz would like to have a strategy where the two clubs can move players around (loan or sale) and use the system to develop young talent and build strong squads, with Leeds being the parent club utilising Prem riches let's see, maybe he gives up on Leeds and takes £150m from 49ers .. thing is he probs needs £400m which he won't get right now, so he may sit tight and go for one more season and promotion to get £400m of course, other option is his Qatari mate simply buys out the 49ers shares at a premium and they do the Samp/Leeds project anyway the next month will be very important for Leeds here's a question .. do you trust 49ers Enterprises to be good leaders for Leeds?
Yup, the players just weren't good enough and Allardyce wasn't good enough to get them motivated playing basic football, ok, he only had a short time to do his thing but he should go along with all those players who didn't give a ****, we need better
thing is, you ARE supporting the fking dinosaur imagine going into a must-win game with 1 striker (Rod) and 1 winger (Jack) .. that's fkn criminal, no wonder the team had no confidence totally unbalanced and confused, uncertain whether to defend or attack .. Koch trying to play as a striker and Struijk trying to channel his inner Raphinha to try and save the day this is what awful managers do, they destroy talent and want a fat cheque book to "build" a squad of "experienced pros" Allardyce, Bruce, Lampard, all the same .. fkn useless, ignorant, cliche riddled fools
Aski Rodrigo has been ignored by Bielsa, Marsch, Gracia and Big Sam, they all preffered Bamford even when obvious he wasn’t fit and even when he was obviously useless recently. That’s what I was getting at mate. If you have a striker who scores and is 4th on goals per minutes played behind Haaland, Kane and Wilson why would you sit him on the bench or play him in the middle. You state that Bamford has played x games well plenty of those games were as a sub or subbed off. We can never do a like for like comparison of the 2 but no way would Rodrigo have missed the chances that fell to Bamford. My view is that prioritising Bamford over Rodders has cost us points. Oh and Rodders has sent a classy message to Leeds fans saying they deserved better from the players and saying he was sorry…..
Funnily enough I made no mention of Doc's opinion that Allardyce ignored Gnonto or Summerville, because I agreed with Doc, in that Allardyce did ignore a number of our attacking players, I just didnt agree that Rodrigo had been ignored, so not sure how that means I am supporting Allardyce. However if it makes you happy, then believe what you want about me
thing is, he's not really a manager, is he? I'm just pointing out that he's a tw@t posing as a manager, so I'm tw@tting him off .. anything else is disrespectful to slags
