Because Leicester agreed to buy him for 20 million in January before Leeds pulled the plug at the last minute.
I actually don't have a problem with the club taking the gamble on Harrison like they did in January/February. Radz was panicking because we were buying Rutter and wanted to claw some cash back. We needed players with experience in the side, not potentials for the future, and why strengthen a relegation rival, so whoever pulled the plug on the deal, I approve. So for the sake of £ 3 million it was probably worth the risk. The only real downside, is that Leicester probably would have stayed up and Everton would have come down with us, if we had let Harrison leave
Totally agree. It would have been stupid to sell him to Leicester. I'm also glad we didn't sell Cresswell to Coventry.
A few exits that I've read/heard about over the last week Jack Harrison to West Ham Willy Gnonto to Lazio or Fiorentina Robin Koch to Spurs Marc Roca to Bilbao Add that to West McKenzie going back to Juve. Also Llorente wants to stay at Roma
Shouldn't we start with a manager? Any rumours? Hopefully Sam has had his 4 games and spouted his bollox and will now leave.
Rodrigo needs to go we need younger and cheaper wages wise. Plus he is too old if we are planning for the future.
We should really start with sorting ownership out first. Then a director of football who would then pick a head coach. We should just go all out to get Brendan Rodgers in and let him sign who he needs. We don't have time to **** about. Pre season starts soon.
