Maybe so ... but you'll need to go to theirs and give them a proper battering (like we did on our way to the title) to be taken seriously ... beating them again at Wembley in the Community Shield was also a bit of a bonus
Almiron just had his best season for us in a team that was scoring plenty of goals. Barnes scored more than he did, in a team playing like trash. Yes Miggy tracks back a lot and adds to the team in other ways but I don't watch a lot of Barnes and he may do too. There are players I'd prefer but if our scouts think he's an improvement then the numbers do just about back that up - and in the Premiership no less.
Such is life ...but... "... tis better to have loved and lost, than to have spent a lifetime in a monogamous relationship with Mrs Wrist ..." ... as a very wise man once said
Barnes lacks a bit on the defensive side of his game but he's a real attacking threat .. his goal at the weekend was very much his modus ... very difficult to defend against ...
... but modern history nonetheless ... none of your sepia pics of waxed down hair, handlebar moustaches and long baggy shorts ...
For the last 5 minutes newcastle have been more successful than Leicester so anything that's happened before we can discount.
Harvey Barnes started the season recovering from a knee op and was also out with a related complication later on ... but finished the season in very good order with 3 goals in the last 4 games ... he would fit very well at Villa (who according to oress reports are lining up a bid) alongside Watkins should we decide to cash in ...
Anyway can't spend all day on here spinning car-toons ... must pack me tools up and check that my postcrete has set
Nice one, looking forward to Ryan Reynolds signing up. Going to ask him if Deadpool 3 is coming out anytime soon.
I'm not sure that's as much of an option as you're suggesting. It's partly the cash needed to remove external debts (which aren't huge but need shifting) and giving a transfer kitty for the players to supplement some of those you already have but mostly it's the wage bill. Yes some players are leaving anyway but if Maddison or Barnes are still there at the end of the window I'll be shocked.
Leicester fan acting as if they have a choice in "cashing in" on their players. Like the captain of a ship saying he is considering allowing the rats off board after hitting an iceberg.
