Really nice finish. There’s a player in there. What he turns out to be will depend on the manager and what role he ends up with.
That could’ve been one of the assists of the season from Kane but the touch from the Leeds defender rules it out. Nice finish from Porro, who yet again shows he’s ****ing brilliant going forward, if he works on the defensive side of the game he’ll be some player.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, you're ****! - Our lot. We're ****ing ****, we're ****ing ****, we're ****ing ****! - Leeds fans.
Joao Palhinha picks up his 14th league booking of the season. He's missed 3 games, too. Very good player, but that's a bit excessive.
There’s probably some lunacy/genius in having him as a winger and a lopsided back 4 behind him with a more defensive RB and Destiny at LB pushing high. This squad is going to be tricky for anyone not trying to use a back 3. Needs a lot of reworking (no matter what happens, but especially if we’re changing system.
Progressive manager and an attacking system could negate *some* of the defensive frailties of someone like Porro. If we have more of the ball and essentially less defending to do, then he won’t be so exposed. He’s very Trent-esque in that regard, Trent’s defending (or lack of) has been massively exposed when van Dijk was injured/ returned not the same player.
<BBC> Ruben Loftus-Cheek appears to be saying goodbye to the Bridge as he comes off - a year away from his testimonial and yet still trying to force his way into the side. Time to go? It's a protracted farewell to all four corners of the ground. </BBC> What a savage indictment of the Chelsky youth hoarding regime.
