Bissouma x Bentancur (if he comes back the same player) midfield under a progressive, attacking manager could potentially be up there with some of our best CM duos of the last 15-20 years, probably after Dembele x Wanyama and Modric x Parker. Bissouma is so silky in possession, it was criminal Conte tried playing him as a DM in his sporadic chances under him.

 

Do we have to bother with the 2nd half? It's only going to upset people.

 

He’s had a couple of nice turns to be fair. But likely needs a rest and pre-season to really get over the injury. I liked him centrally in the first half last week, wouldn’t mind seeing that if we change the system. Puts less emphasis on his pace which is nice when he’s not 100%
