So you're admitting that, by your own standards, you've failed? That's the point of understanding words before you type them: if you did understand words, you would know that Galacticos aren't supposed to finish in fourth place...
It's the future that's bright and unfortunately you'll be left stuck in the past. You do realise what the future holds don't you ?
You've literally dropped one place in the table since you started piping up this evening You do realise what the opposite of bright is, right?
Perhaps you should instead read a dictionary so you might actually use a word you understand for a change Failure: it's your past, present and future
Somebody blessed with this thing called "intellect" might be able to understand sarcasm Funny you should have issues with that...
you've done nothing apart from spend all day talking to yourself on another teams board good work Munse im the first person to have responded to you clown
I made a similar post a few weeks back - which RCL was completely on board with too . Rodgers is a bellend of almost the highest order (not quite Klopp or Arteta levels) but he is a decent manager. His brand of football with young, attack minded players was very enjoyable at Leicester and personally I don’t think he deserves too much of the blame for Leicester’s demise, he also played some decent stuff at Swansea and won the obligatory trophies with Celtic. The main problem now if we were to hire him is that looks so, so desperate. Had we put him at the top of the list a few weeks back and went for him, whilst there’d be some disgruntlement and claims of lacking ambition from fans, once the dust settled I think fans would be “ok” with it and keen to see what he could do. But after being rejected by many people after failing to show them the right ambition, or refusing to meet a club’s asking price for our seemingly top target, not forgetting not even considering a former revered manager who’d probably be perfect for our predicament, to then end up hiring a guy recently sacked by a club that could be relegated just looks so, so bad. And I think fans would be in uproar over it now, to the point Rodgers would be on similar ground to Nuno - the moment anything goes wrong the fans will call for their head.
Jose Mourinho: "I hope the Tottenham fans don't get me wrong but the only club in my career where I don't have still a deep feeling for is Tottenham," Mourinho said. "Probably because the stadium was empty, Covid time. Probably because Mr Levy [Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy] didn't let me win a final and win a trophy."
That’s what I mean. If we’d gone straight for him and spun a narrative of him being the person to lead a rebuild alongside a sporting director then there might have been some backlash but at least we’re trying to sell a vision to players and to fans. Now it just seems like a backup and with none of the back office stuff sorted then it looks even worse. Fans are going to be toxic about whoever we get now, unless we pull off Nagelsmann or Poch. Which we won’t.
totally agree with this. Actions speak louder than words, and hiring Rodger’s would just cement the worry most fans have about there not being a plan in place. This time round though, I don’t think fans would call for the managers head if things were going wrong on the pitch. - there will just become more anger towards Levy from even more of our fan base.
