In the Class-3 Handicap over 1m at Sandown this evening (20:12), Yaanaas certainly looks a decent bet? Jim Crowley on board for the Roger Varian yard.

11/4 current price in all places.

Impressive win by the 2yo Elite Status in the National Stakes. Often a stepping stone to Royal Ascot it will not be a surprise to see this colt featuring at the Berkshire track.

Typical me, wrong Roger Varian horse. <doh>

(No excuses, but Yaanaas had no luck at all in running. He will surely be winning a race or two this Flat season?)

Strange there is no mention of Desert Crown being beaten at 2/5

That race was just under a quarter of a second faster than the Class 5 handicap 90 mins earlier, the winner of that race carrying 4lb more than Hukum.
