I've heard this from a few different places and it's factually incorrect. In the last decade the teams finishing 4th have totalled 714 points, so 71.4 points on average and the teams finishing 5th have totalled 686 points, so 68.6 points on average. We've already got 70 points and that's enough to finish above 5th spot on 7 of the last 10 seasons, if we win our last game we've had eough points to have qualified in almost all of the last 20 seasons. We've already got more points than Liverpool got 2 seasons ago in their 3rd place finish. Thems the actual facts. ps. I appreciate tone is hard to tell in typed word, I'm not having a go here. Thanks for the well wishes.
So we shouldn’t put too much pressure on them next season. We might even go backwards a little bit two steps forward one back right.
It always sounds quieter than it actually is on TV, especially sky. It was mint. Although there was a bloke next to me who was moaning all game, couldn't believe the way he was going on after such a season.
I love Joelinton. His turn around is the most impressive and he is the happiest man in the world right now. Love him:
Fair enough. watching on TV it seemed like it was an electric build up and start, but then appeared to fade to a very nervous mumble with lots of nail biting. Then electric again once the final whistle went. But as you say, TV can be deceptive. it just felt like our boys needed roaring on more towards the end.
