One plays for a Prem team whilst the other is out of contract from a league one club. And you still won’t admit Reid is the better player
Championship and League One retained lists: Every free agent available to Bristol City - Bristol Live (bristolpost.co.uk) Some proven players on this list out of contract that stand out - Bradley Dack Teemu Pukki Kyle Naughton Aiden Flint - seeing as we're rolling back the years with bringing Joe Bryan back Just for Red Robin - Matty Taylor released by almost relegated Oxford......
Dack burnt his bridges with us years back. Pukki would be good No to Flint - that ship sailed long ago Not sure about Naughton - don't know anything about him TBH. Loved Taylor - especially his 'snake' gif, but no thanks. Peaked when he was with us and don't think he's good enough - sadly.
I would have Dack in a heartbeat, provided he is over his big injury. Still a very influential player at Championship level, and adds great experience. The mention of Flint & Taylor was tongue in cheek.
what a horrible picture that summons up, not sure witch is worse taylor coming back, or the other option,
possibly but certainly would be a great asset only 29 and at his peak would need to be 100% over his injury though.
Cotts tried to buy Dack but his bid was rejected, City increased the anti but after Cotts had gone. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...h-Bradley-Dack-despite-having-no-manager.html
Another who said no to Steve Cotterill. A theme that season, I wonder why? Coincidence, or did he have a bad reputation amongst players?
It doesn't say offer rejected because of Cotts anywhere, 3 bids made, all turned down as below required valuation, indeed some of the bids were made when Pemberton was in charge according to press reports Bristol City's bid to sign Gillingham's Bradley Dack is rejected by chairman Paul Scally https://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/sport/gills-snub-city-approach-59466/
Defiantly good enough -class player would love him in the red shirt -would be a great signing if Nige could reel him in.
