I don’t mean to be unfair. Our front line players have had great runs this season. But last night wasn’t their night. Fine margins. In fairness to Isak, I think he was playing with an injury which robbed him of his speed for most of the game.
Yeah, 3 players in double figures, and Joelinton, Bruno and Murphy getting goals too. Our team is far better than the Keegan days, sadly other teams are better now though too.
Most baffling thing this season was paying £45m for a left winger, when we had Joelinton starting and ASM on the bench, then choosing to play Isak there…
He had a spell of 15 mins where he drank from his bottle 6 times. He get's dehydrated quick seemingly.
Agreed. Even if Gordon does turn out to be ok, I'm sure we could have spent 45m more wisely. I'd assume Gordon is just one for the future.
