How many goals this season could have been Goal of the Season contenders? The irony being we didn't even get a nomination:

    Gooch v Sheff Utd
    Clarke v Rotherham
    Clarke v Reading
Roberts v Reading (both of them)
    Amad v Birmingham (away)
    Amad v Wigan
    Clarke v Fulham (home)
    Clarke v Bristol City
    Amad v Coventry
    Amad v Hull
    Clarke v Hull
    Amad v Birmingham (home)
    Cirkin v WBA (2nd goal)
    Roberts v Watford
    Amad v Preston
    Pritch v Preston
    Clarke v Preston
    Amad v Luton

It's a hell of a list and a nice mix between worldies and wonderful team goals. Never known a season like it

In a perverse way I'm pleased we didn't receive any credit ...

... we all know, how good all those goals were, and aren't needy little inadequates wanting endless praise.

The same goes for our support which is top class at this level :emoticon-0103-cool:

We had a world cup that was brilliant in amongst the brilliant lads football as well.

Best world cup final ever? The Di Maria goal was magic. Mbappes second was breathless. Messi scores his second only for Mbappe to get the hatrick. It was a brilliant brilliant game. Proper world cup memory.

After the excellent previous recuitments I'm sure next season will be much the same ...

... however much the squad changes.

After seeing the acclaim and support Amad, Ballard, Clarke, etc, received there'll be young ambitious players texting their agents 24/7 trying to get a move or a loan with Sunderland. Other Championship clubs may have geography or higher wages but few can match our facilities ...

... none can match our support.
