I think it all went wrong when we reached ninth in our first season back.
It kidded lots of people that we already had the squad to compete. That showed commendable loyalty, exemplified by how LUFC treated Berardi after his injury. However, someone needed to be harder nosed. No doubt we'd have all moaned if Leeds had cleared out players who we regarded as key to getting us promoted.

Went 11 without a win, before winning 3 of their last 5= LUCKY
A sensible and well run club would have brought Tony Pulis in for those last 5 rather than leave it to chance.

Can someone who thinks going down to the Championship is better because we'll be winning matches again please explain their thinking to me again please ?

Or is the plan not to win too many so we don't end up back in the PL again ?

Thank you as I'm a little confused this morning.

It's the Leeds way Brizzle. The Don let his great side all grow old together. Meanwhile Shankley/Paisley across the pennines kicked a few out and refreshed every year. We're just too damn nice. Except for Jesse. He was the devil's spawn obviously. And Orta. And Radz. And Kinnear. Apart from them... we're too damn nice.

My take is that under MB we had a system that compensated for player quality. To a degree. We also flogged them and maybe wore them out over the 4 years (maybe). I'd argue it's not dissimilar under Marsch. You have a side designed to play a certain way, built to a spec if you like. You decide it isn't working. Keep changing the architect but not the materials. Then everyone's surprised when the windows don't fit.

So, if they were going to sack marsch, they needed a high pressing replacement, for this season at least. Not saying red bull, but someone who could set up to the strengths of the players. But no, we tried to play a different brand with players who can't do it... at least not as well as other sides built to play that way. No PL standard ball players for Gracia and no 'proper' defenders, no beef, no target man for Sam.

The results were poor under Marsch, obviously, and our fans hated the football (especially after what had gone before) but under Marsch we were difficult to play against for sides, and the games were usually pretty competitive. Since then?

Think most see Radz and his cronies have no future at the club at this stage. Important thing is it's a quick exit. Investment banks wouldn't be renowned for rushing things along but reality is we need the new setup in place over next three weeks or less to give everyone time to start putting new plans in place. The last thing we need is to have these clowns here in August simply clearly out old stock with nobody with the expertise to rebuild it. And it will be a huge job. When Radz came in at least most of the squad had little left on contacts and on small wages. Was no big deal to get rid of. Current crop will be a different prospect. We don't want to be left with players that we simply can't move on because of huge contracts. Like I said, a huge job

I see the exodus has Started with Lazio and Fiorentina looking to buy Gnonto

Suppose it is what we make of it. A good thing would have been to stay up in mid table but when its patently obvious this team doesn't belong in pl well just have to make the best of our new home. Its not like any of us have ever seen a Leeds championship game anyway

With respect, they didn't clog him though did they? In fact they didn't clog anyone. We fouled them considerably more than they did us in the game. Rodders lost control of the ball and kicked the defenders foot <laugh>

Point is, these things happen. You can't wrap people in cotton wool. Well, according to Pep seemingly. What would he know.

Radz and his cronies as you call them will now get their dough by selling anything and everything. You see Mr Radrizani doesn't have the stomach for the fight anymore just like his team on the pitch. Then once they've stripped the club it will be sold although Radz will keep collecting his £2M+ a year rent on Elland Road for a good while longer unless someone want to stump up his asking price for that as well.

The 49ers won't make much, if anything, but the Italian gentleman will have done quite nicely out of us thank you.

    Adams £20M
    Arronson £8M
    Roca £3M
    Koch £8M
    Llorente £8M
    Wober £8M
    Kristensen £8M
    Meslier £8M
    Rodrigo £10M
    Gnonto £10M
    Summerville £10M
    James £8M

Just over £100M there to balance the books as we look forward to another decade away from the top flight.

    Enjoy.

He can go as well, showed as much passion as the rest of them, these foreign players as i have said before, have no stomach, pride or fight in them for the shirt, as for the dribbling skills he flaunted in his first couple of games for us, seem to be gone, my neighbours one year old dribbles better than Gnonto and Harrison combined.

To be fair to Harrison he always puts in a massive shift and so I've never had a problem with him. A good professional who's constantly working and trying his best to improve and get better.

Proper bored today. I had a look at ‘errors leading to goals’ on the PL site.

I looked at the bottom 8 clubs. Guess who tops that chart with 8? Only Everton were close. Most were 2-5.

This is errors leading directly to a shot that goes in. Doesn't include fck ups where the grateful recipient passes for someone else to score (i'm confident we'd top that one too).

    Makes you proud.
