I suspect he'll go back to London, he's only a young lad. Plenty of clubs will snap him up. He's good enough to be playing National League, in my opinion, so maybe Bromley, Dagenham, Wealdstone or Barnet would snap him up. But I think a more realistic outcome will be that he'll sign for a league club's youth set up as a scholar. Perhaps somebody like Leyton Orient or AFC Wimbledon.
If that’s the crack I’m all for it, if I see him bouncing about with the armband on whilst we are 13th then it’s another story
Harry Wood isn't mentioned in the retained list. He signed a two-year contract in May 2021. Did he get another deal somewhere along the line that I missed?
Oh so he's not mentioned because it's not resolved? Strange though since they do mention that Robson is in the same position.
It really does feel like there's a lack of realistic options domestically and it's completely understandable why we'll probably end up looking abroad
I think he said that as he was joining Leeds…just like a lot of players feign allegiance to their new employers. Don’t forget that both Coyle and Cairney we painted with the white brush.
Weirdest thing happened on Friday. I went with a couple of City fans to Parma as they wanted to look at the errea HQ and we took in a game at rhe same time. One had his City shirt on and as we walked into a bars outside seating area a Geordie lad called us over and told us he was a City fan. Despite early concerns he might just be off his head he actually is a member and comes to plenty of games at the MKM. Anyway we followed each other on twitter and the next day he sent us a picture of him on his plane home with Karl Darlow who happened to have the very next seat to him!!! He has since tweeted that picture. He said Darlows missus dropped some massive hints he will be at the club next year as well as Karl himself stating he expects his kid to grow up a City fan which is odd for someone who wasn't here more than a few months. He must be coming back.
