Most impressive thing I have seen today. Sebastian Vettel with a clear visor and camera straight at him. It kept me still for minutes watching his eyes when he drove in FP2. The concentration and the 3 blinks per minute (what it seemed), this is Formula 1. I would love to see that again over the weekend.
Would have thought you would have gazed into the eyes of Schuey for long enough to know the concentration levels of an F1 driver.......
Yes but even seeing the head movement and bouncing and the glance somewhere by the movement of the helmet would be interesting to watch. And yes pardon my stupidness there.
I only caught the end of it today when he was looking up at the screen. There are clips on the BBC website and YouTube but the quality is poor. I'm really hoping they show a replay from that angle of him starting, watching the lights and then checking his mirrors and trying to fend off the McLarens.
That would be awesome. Would make things very interesting if there was some sort of incident involving Vettel.
I've predicted a collision between Vettel and Hamilton after the long straight, as Hamilton will slipstream Vettel, and try one of his dan dare overtaking manouvers into the next corner, and we know Vettel likes to rough people up when he's forced to defend, so i envision a massive collision, and Jenson Button winning the race. Love to see the look on Vettel's face when hamilton punts him off.
I reckon there could be action at the first corner. Vettel has been aggressive off the line in the past - forcing Alonso/Webber almost into the wall in 2010 and this year making two defensive moves in China and forcing Button onto the grass in Japan. Today, Hamilton had this to say:
Not sure, I suppose any highlights of 2011 night races may include clips. Welcome to the forum by the way.
Here's one from Monaco:
