Their net spend isn’t particularly grotesque. If their revenue is far lower than a Liverpool or United I don’t think it’s fair that they have to spend less if they have owners willing to subsidise it and the club isn’t in danger of not fulfilling its financial obligations. The Premier League is happy to dump a load of parachute payments on clubs too **** to finish 17th and thus make it harder for Championship teams to progress.
