Mate they're not going to finish bottom no matter how much you want them to. Facts are they've fought hard all season and for that alone deserve any luck that might come their way.
No, they won't finish bottom, Southampton will. All I'm saying is that they are in a false position in the table. I don't subscribe to luck evening out over the course of a season. Its too small a sample size. I'll use two examples of us. The season that Monk only just missed out on the play offs. **** me we were terrible that year but kept sneaking lucky goals and hanging on by the skin of our teeth. Then in Bielsas first season I actually thought we played better than in his 2nd season but we kept hitting the woodwork and conceding deflected goals left right and centre. Teams have missed sitter after sitter against Forest this year. Its been beyond a joke. At the other end, everything has gone in. At some point it usually runs out but it just hasn't happened this season. It's almost like they are playing against Bamford every week.
As it stands all 3 promoted teams will stay in the prem and all 3 have squad valuations lower than teams in the bottom 4. Difference is coaching and players with heart
They play to their strengths and try to limit their weaknesses, whereas we seem to have done the opposite all season. If they stay up they'll have fully deserved and earn't it so f*ck all to do with luck really. We couldn't break them down and now Arsenal having the same problem it seems.
Their strength this season is to hope teams miss sitter after sitter against them. Of course luck plays its part during a season. Its ridiculous to say it doesn't.
If Forest do this they will have won 9 matches whereas Leeds only 7 the lowest in the league along with Leicester. About time this set of powder puffs repaid the fans and won their last 2 games. if the Forest result stays the same Man City will win the title tonight with 3 games still to play
Arsenal so poor that I’ve switched over to the golf. They surrendered the title to Man City. Not sure who is ever going to win the title over them
Not seeing Forest giving away stupid penalties and continually finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot though. You make your own luck over the course of the season and they've been excellent when the chips were down.
Arsenal probing, probing, probing but creating nothing here and Forest's desire to keep them out makes some of our capitulations even more embarrassing.
They've made plenty of **** ups at the back and given away chances galore. They've rarely been punished for them. At the other end they've been pretty clinical and most of the shots they hit somehow find the back of the net. They've been good today against an Arsenal side on the slide but that doesn’t hide the fact that they've been ****e all season. As a side note, I'm guessing you're alluding to us shooting ourselves in the foot. If that's the case I don't think you'll find a more staunch critic of our players on the site than me. I'm happy for every single one to leave. They've been terrible. My main gripe with today's game is that Forests luck should have run out long ago but fair play to them, they've played well today (and last week). That's disappointing for us though as we need them down there with us.
shyte or bust for us now. Its all about winning 2 football games and we play Premier League football simple as that. Forget everyone else we do our business nothing else matters.
Well done forest. Did what was required and deserve to stay up. City will likely win league by 13 points
100% agree. Just saying the very slim chance that we could redeem ourselves has just left the building.
