Confused by the offside rule yet again. So villa player plays the ball to vvd who is then classed as offside? Handball and offside they’ve done so much to make it perfect that all theyve done is mess it up and make it more complicated.
From the law… A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent. So clearly vvd isn’t offside as the defender deliberately plays the ball
