An example of how things have gone wrong with Brexit. An old college friend inherited a 400 acre farm frm his grandad. He caught the Sovereignty bug and voted Leave. He admitted that he would lose forty grand a year in subsidies but thought it a price worth paying. Now he's being told to grow wild flowers. We have replaced a workable albeit flawed system with a totally madcap one. Nothing works under Brexit.
