    60,70,80s Celtic were cramming you into the crumbling ruin that was Celtic park and the Sunday mail was posting attendance figures of 26 000. It was an open secret at the time. Everybody knew what was going on. Not the only "open secret" at that time tbf.

    70s Rangers won two domestic trebles despite starting the rebuild of the old lady.

    80s Rangers were hindered lowered attendances due to the continued work turning Ibrox into a mordern,state of the art footballing arena and still managed to win 3 league titles. One less than Celtic who were cheating all through that decade, posting false attendance figures avoiding serious amounts of tax that should have been paid on the real figures.

    90s Rangers dominated the decade whilst Celtic broke SPL rules by not having a stadium fit for purpose. Ebts didn't start at Ibrox until 2001 so no "cheating" was occurring.

    And also managed to have an all seater stadium without the help of the governing body gifting you a 50 000 seat stadium securing revenue to pay for it.
