I then started that in my opinion they have had good spells and poor spells whereas Longstaff has been consistent. You then go off on a tangent.

We’re only deciding who we would have as player of season. Everyone overall has been superb. Some had dips. Understandable.

Longstaff was consistent through both periods. Maybe we should all just be happy we have soo many to choose from this season unlike previous season
Longstaff isn't even in the top 3 midfielders for me let alone the whole team, Joelinton Bruno Willock all ahead.
Fair enough. My second choice was Willock. Joelinton would be my third choice and then Trippier. Edit: ****, Pope surely needs to be in top 5!
I have to agree with Chaos here, there really is no one player of the season. The whole success has been based on the overall team. It's what has set us apart this year. We don't rely on a standout superstar like most teams. Everyone has done their bit. I literally can't choose one player for whole season.
I'm a little disappointed in you both actually.. you're both entitled to your opinion and either way it doesn't change the fact that Newcastle are the next galacticos.
