    Yes, so the story goes. He killed 40 Anglo-Saxon housecarls on the bridge and allowed the rest of Hardrada’s army to regroup and form a defensive line. He was killed when an Anglo-Saxon volunteered to go under the bridge with a spear and thrust it underneath a gap between the wooden planks on the bridge, killing the berserker.

    Alkmaar’s ‘ultras’ are a right bunch of fannies. Dozens of them ran off with their tails between their legs after getting a good hiding from two middle-aged geezers with beer bellies <laugh>

    Got them into a bottleneck then just leathered **** out of them.
