I wouldn't mind watching a few Ted Philips' "Net busters!"

If Spain play as they can, we'll be lucky to touch the ball!

Nice to see the England players wearing the poppy on their warm up tops tho'

A big :emoticon-0173-middl to Blatter and FIFA!

I have nothing but massive respect for Harry. Took Tottenham from dark depths of the PL to the top 4!

0-0 halftime, thought we played well in the first 45 mins, Spain's passing and moving, possession football was, as ever, a joy to watch, but did they really have a meaningful attack on our goal?

DM...just out of curiosity, why the move from Kessingland to Coventry?

Spurs have spent much more on players than Arsenal over the years, and Arsenal have represented England in the Champions league every year...............
I have sympathy for him after the horrific car crash but if greedy rich people think they are above the law then they need to punished.... The guy is obscenely rich so he has no excuse.

I did actually apply to UEA and got my offer, but I decided to go to Warwick instead. Only reason for me to of gone to UEA would be so I could be close to home and then not have to pay £40 to Virgin Rail to get a new ticket everytime I miss my train.

A few years before you then! Thoroughly enjoyed my time at UEA, and many a pint in Tombland and the pubs along the Earlham Rd and Magdalen St!

Did get a bit fed up with the locals asking me what it was like to support a proper football team, with a proper history, but I was always bought a pint of Woodfordes for my tales of watching us lift the UEFA cup in Amsterdam...

"Hey, Wellyblue," they would say, "Tell us what it's like to support a real football team, with European pedigree and history", and I never tired of telling them...

I think that was the first time that I met Dave...

No, I decided to go to Uni due to the tales of sex, drugs and rock and roll that all of my graduate mates had told me, (and turned out to be true!:emoticon-0105-wink:) decided to read law to test myself and graduated with a 2:1 Honours, would have liked to have gone to the Bar, never wanted to be a pen-pushing solicitor, but they upped the entrance qualifications in my second year...

Now I find myself talking nonsense on football forums...<doh>

I don't know if you can bankrupt a national team but Harry would give it a go. Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and West Ham have all gone into admin or serious financial troubles. Love his sense of humour, can't stand his son and wouldn't trust him as far as I could kick him but apart from that he would be my choice.

By the way Dave, wasn't Ted Philips an arse buster as well as nets? That was the rumour.
