It won't necessarily be that easy at all mind.
Watford will have money and you never know with them.
West Brom will have their manager for a close season and a decent squad.
    Norwich ditto.
Southampton down with money to spend.
    Ditto Leicester, maybe Everton.
Boro will be strong. Coventry too if they flunk it.
We'll be better as well I'd say. But it's a tough league with a lot of teams who could easily make a big mark.

The Championship never is I suppose

West Brom are in real financial trouble so hopefully they'll just be selling players this summer. Everton likewise are in big financial trouble, I wouldnt mind them coming down due to this. I hope Luton get promoted, if they dont they'll likely keep their squad together, while Coventry are likely to lose a few key players if they go up

As long as we strengthen we will be in with a great chance

To be fair, the Daily Heil hate us, have done for years, so any chance to give us a kicking or gloat at something going wrong for us means they'd jump at a negative story. Mowbray staying is a positive story, so, unless they are playing mind games, I can't see them publishing it with out a grain of truth to it. They really wouldn't want to look totally incompetent and out of the loop, even considering that things can change.

i hope TM is being 'kept around' so to speak, the club has attracted a lot of attention with the young squad and a lot of that has come from TM's interviews.

truth is though, him being here is working so unless this was just some agreed 'time slot' for him i see no reason to rock the boat and even then he is certainly worth more time... i never get enthused over a new manager or player until they have had time to show what they can do and i was the same with TM.

If its not broken, dont fix it.....

Tonys done an amazing job so far and is a father figure to our young squad. Why feck it all up and bring a young foreigner in with no knowledge of Championship football?

If this is true that's the best news I've had since TM was announced last season, sense seems to be prevailing.
