I think they’re suggesting because there’s not been anything resting on our games, either relegation, nor promotion, rather than just purely our position in the league, I agree though it’s Bollox
I quite like Jay, gives us a bit of flair and is a hard worker...quite like to keep both unless replaced with quality...we will see!!
Scott waves goodbye ahead of premiership move https://tbrfootball.com/25m-midfielder-now-waves-goodbye-to-his-own-fans-amid-tottenham-interest/
Not sure of the context of the so say wave....but produces a headline....having said that, I'm sure he will be on the move and who could blame him....and probably good for both parties if the fee is right!!
I hope he doesn't go to an unfashionable club like Antoine Semenyo did because the poor guy has barely seen the pitch at Bournemouth. The problem for the players at Bristol City who yearn for the bright lights is that going to a club to become a minor bit part player is somewhat soul destroying and possibly damaging to self confidence. If you have the talent to get regular playing time at Ashton Gate the repercussions of moving on up could prove catastrophic in the longer term, but you must remember we will probably never be able to up the ante in the salary department and so you have to make a choice as to what's best for you and your individual career. New and more efficient blood is needed but at what cost?
Until we can somehow break the glass ceiling and get promoted we will always be at a disadvantage. Scott is different to Semenyo though, whilst obviously the money is a pull, I think Scott is driven more by wanting game time as well as money. I believe he knows he’s good enough to play at that level but he also wants to play rather than just bench warm.
It's sounds like between the devil and the deep blue sea and only by getting your feet wet can you decide whether or not it was the right choice.

Bristol City season player ratings: Scott, Pring and Vyner stand out while James also impresses Bristol City showed plenty of progress both on and off the pitch and gave themselves a good platform to build on for next season https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/bristol-city-season-player-ratings-8428602
I see Cole Skuse has moved into management. Good luck to him … https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/23516715.ex-ipswich-town-midfielder-cole-skuse-new-bury-town-manager/
WOW Coventry almost there! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT it could be Luton v Coventry and 1 making the big time. Would sooner have seen Sunderland go up... or Middsbro . Teams coming up dont add many miles and teams coming down [ 3 from 4 ] all easy to get to
If they do I wonder what Cornick and Naismiths thoughts will be, in particular Naismith who was their player of the season the season before last. Had he stayed he could well have been going up to the PL next season
It's bloody head scratching how clubs either nearly go out of business or drop down leagues only to revitalise themselves back to the big time, where as we struggle to get anywhere near it...Luton not that long ago dropped out of the league on it's knees, Coventry nearly doing the same...Clubs like Norwich, Forest, Leicester etc, drop to League 1 but then manage to get back up.......what is it with our club not being able to do the same? So bloody frustrating..
Not having the pedigree in place-we have only really had Steve Coppell did a runner and possibly Danny Wilson that have had it. However we have top top pedigree in Nigel Pearson we are heading in the right direction after 30 years of failure.
