Some finish to the top 6 places. Millwall blew it to let in Sunderland so which team will be saying ta ra to then?
Heart wants Robbie's boys to do it but got a sneaky feeling it might be Boro. Great season for Sunderland though.
What a capitulation by Millwall. 3.1 up at half time, lose 4.3 and out of play offs. I would like Cov to go up (although I've never forgiven them for beating Spurs in the 1987 Cup final). Luton and Boro (until recently) have been the consistent teams with Cov and Sunderland coming up on the rails. Sunderland, for all their inconsistencies, which are also their assets, could sneak it though.
Not many would have predicted the 4 play off contenders in August. Instead of eg Watford Norwich WBA etc it’s 3 clubs who’ve had tremendous seasons plus Boro who probably would have been expecting to do well.
Very similar to Lamouchi's capitulation at Forest in their last game a few seasons back...... They let the Jacks in at the back door like Sunderland today, but at least it didn't do them any good.
I'm backing Robbie's boys, even though it will mean missing one of my regular away trips if they go up
Reckon they’ll be be too strong for Luton on the wide pitch at Wembley unlike their little patch at Kenilworth Rd?
Well done Cov...and special congratulations to Robbie. From no home for quite some years to one game away from the Prem!!!! I'm a bit torn though...would like to see him happy yet would miss him on here.
You silly buggers, you don’t get rid of me that easily! Anyway, we haven’t won anything yet, got to try getting past the land of the giants team However we do have a very good record at both Wembleys, played 3 won 3, in proper cup/ league games. We lost to Everton in the Charity Shield, so that don’t count. I’m gutted cos I’m missing it! We’re going to Turkey on Wednesday which was booked ages ago but there’s a bar that will be showing it.
Team in a Wembley final and you're off strutting your funky stuff in Turkey. That's the trouble with you young kids...no commitment! Hope you have a good time Robbie.
